Walking Tour from Izmir Kadifekale to Agora
For those arriving early, we will begin with a historical tour from Kadifekale to Kemeralti where is old bazaar.
Discover the 2300-year-old castle and its story that began with Alexander the Great. Enjoy panoramic views of Izmir from its walls.
Continue on foot to the Smyrna Theater excavation site and through the colorful streets of Patlıcanlı Yokuşu. Capture beautiful photos of historical houses. Visit the İzmir Mevlevihane site, once frequented by Neyzen Tevfik and Rakım Erkutlu. Listen to its fascinating stories. Visit Smyrna Agora, a city landmark, then head to the world’s largest open-air shopping center, Kemeraltı.
Lunch stop at Abacıoğlu Han in Havra Street, followed by visits to Bet Hilal Synagogue, İsmet İnönü Memorial House, and İzmir’s finest mosque, Salepçioğlu Mosque. Conclude the tour at Konak Square, exploring its monuments.

2.Day: NAZARKOY-YUKARIKIZILCA-BIRGI
Route Information: 10 km (5 hours) – Moderate-Difficult Trail
After breakfast, depart from the hotel to Nazarköy village, formerly known as Kurudere.Visit a glass bead workshop and join a bead-making session. Enjoy a traditional İzmir breakfast in the workshop garden. Begin the Efeler Route’s 2nd stage, featuring two water sources along a forest trail rich in diverse flora. This challenging route includes steep ascents and descents. End the hike in Yukarıkızılca, a village famous for its early cherry harvest. Stamp your passport at Efeler Route-friendly establishments and enjoy free time. Transfer to Birgi village which old Ottoman village.

3.Day: GOLCUK-LUBBEY-BIRGI
Route Information: 6 km (3 hours) – Easy Trail
After breakfast, head to Çobanlar to hike the 9th stage of the Efeler Route. Don’t forget to stamp your passport in Birgi.
This trail descends from an altitude of 780m to 280m. Lunch and storytelling session in Lübbey, a village abandoned 30 years ago but now reviving. Learn its history from the owner of Lübbey Boutique Hotel. Return to Birgi by vehicle.

4.Day: BOZDAG-BIRGI-SIRINCE
Route Information: 7 km (6 hours) – Easy Trail (Departure at 9:00 AM)
After breakfast, transfer to Bozdağ to hike the 11th stage of the Efeler Route.
Start with a morning coffee at a charming village café. The route includes gentle ascents and descents, passing through a chestnut forest. Lunch in Odemiş, featuring the famous Töngül pizza. Transfer to Sirince, an old Greek village.

Dinner: Free time.
5.DAY: SIRINCE-CAMLIK-MERYEMANA
Route Information: 14 km – Moderate-Difficult Trail (Departure at 9:00 AM)
After breakfast, check out and prepare for the final stage of the Efeler Route. Start with a steep ascent, followed by a scenic trail through the forest. Before reaching Çamlık village, transfer by vehicle to the Meryemana trail entrance. Hike through olive groves, forest paths, and firebreaks. Conclude at the House of the Virgin Mary, stamping the last page of your passport. Transfer to Selçuk.
Accommodation: in Pension in Selcuk.
Dinner: Free time.
6.DAY: SELCUK – AIRPORT
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport.
